This design book was just recently released here in Japan. The title in Japanese is 夢みるデザインプロダクト. Which is kind of difficult to express in English. I guess it means “dreamy” designs or perhaps “surreal” designs. The Kabocha parasols that we made in collaboration with Cocca are included in this wonderful little book. It’s on the bookshelves all across Japan now!

This series of Pumpkin umbrellas comes with UV coating and waterproofing. [:en]Cocca is a really charming shop in Daikanyama that makes their own fabric for use in clothing, accessories, interior good and numerous other items. The uniqueness of the designs and the quality of the fabric makes for really great items. That’s what excited me about working with the poeple at Cocca on a series of Rhythm Pumpkin umbrellas.
