My good friend Matias Lasarte recently took a series of my umbrellas and parasols out for a photo shoot in Uruguay. I can’t express how happy I am with the results. [:en]Parashell Parasol Umbrellina in Venezia[:ja]ヴェネチアのパラシェル日傘[:]

[:en]At this year’s Carnival in Venice, award-winning costume designer Tanja Shultz-Hess used the Parashell Frill as a headpiece for a jaw-dropping costume called “Umbrellina”. A Kabocha Parasol was also used in the costume. It was wonderful to see the items in Venice with such a fantastical costume.[:ja]今年のヴェネチアのカーニバルで、受賞歴のあるコスチュームデザイナー、タニヤ・シュルツ＝ヘスは、「アンブレリーナ」と呼ばれる衝撃的なコスチュームのヘッドピースにパラシェル・フリルを使用した。かぼちゃのパラソルもこの衣装に使われている。このような幻想的な衣装でベネチアのアイテムを見ることができるのは素晴らしいことだ。[:]

Being that most of my business is based in Japan, it’s exciting to be covered in another language besides Japanese once in a while. This month a series of Parashell parasols were covered in Repubblica Delle Donne’s D Casa magazine.
