Pumpkin Umbrellas at Matsuya Ginza 2011

ディチェザレ 傘 銀座 松屋

Today was the first day of the the Matsuya 100 Umbrella Exhibition show. The weather was not so nice making it a good day to pick up a nice umbrella! Like the Kabocha Marina Parasol (Navy Dots & Stripes) or a Rhythm Palette Umbrella. They both have UV and Waterproof coating making them great for a Rainy or Sunny day. Heck, these handmade Pumpkin Umbrellas are good ANY day!

Ginza Story has begun! This is a special event on only until the 14th in the central exhibition space of Matsuya Ginza.  The selection of Rhythm umbrellas at this show is quite extensive! The “Real Print” Rhythms made especially for Matsuya are something you’ve just got to see. Please come by to take a look at the items and for a chat if you are in Ginza!

松屋銀座　京の傘 日傘スタイル

DiCesare Designs Ginza Show

京都さくら日傘と京都かぼちゃ日傘は、栗山工房とのスペシャルコラボレーション。京都の伝統的な生地工房である栗山工房が、「桜日傘」と「京かぼちゃ日傘」のために特別な柄を制作した。生地は「紅型」と「京友禅」の技法を組み合わせたスタイルで染められた繊細なリネン。

この生地が「桜日傘」と「かぼちゃ日傘」のフォルムをいかに引き立たせているかは、実際に見ていただくしかない。そもそもなぜ私が傘や日傘のデザインを始めたのかを思い出させてくれる、衝撃的な限定シリーズだ。松屋銀座にて今月末まで販売。

DiCesare Designs at Matsuya Ginza

今年もディチェザレデザインのアイテムが、日本最大の傘の展示会である松屋百貨店に展示されました！今年は、松屋銀座のメインホールにある数百本の吊り下げ傘の素晴らしいディスプレイの下に、私たちのブースで最新コレクションを展示しました。たくさんの面白い人たちと出会い、彼らのデザインに対する反応を見ることができた。また、私の時折理解できない日本語に対する彼らの反応も興味深かった。傘愛好家なら見逃せない年に一度のイベントだ。
