All this month, if you drop by Shiseido the Ginza, you can see a special installation using a series of Parasols and Umbrellas on the main floor of the building. I love it when umbrellas are installed somewhere in this way. I was really glad to see this one. Especially at such a special shop like Shiseido the Ginza!
One of the best places to check out the new colours and styles of Rhythm Umbrellas is Est Nation. So if you aren’t sure which colour suits you best, head over and see one in the store for yourself!
Thanks to everone who came out to Gallery Wa2 to hear the lecture by designer John DiCesare. It was great to have a chance to discuss the creative elements behind the designs. I even had a visit from a special customer. Shinohara Tomoe! She came in and picked up a Parashell Classico White parasol. It suited her really well. She has a very unique character so this item is perfect for her.
I’m happy to say that a selection of items including the Rhythm umbrella, GRANDE umbrella, Kabocha parasol and Parashell parasol are now on sale at Idee! These shops offers a unique Japanese take on their selection of design goods. If you are looking for something unique and modern to fit your lifestyle, then Idee is just the place for you. If there’s anywhere that DiCesare Designs umbrellas feel really at home, it’s at Estnation. This shop is one of the best luxury select shops in the business and they have unmatched customer service . Needless to say, I really enjoyed meeting the customers at this show!
For this collaboration we worked with Est Nation and Rita Takahashi. I just love these Pumpkin Parasols. The pattern of the fabric and the little frill around the edge are perfect for this form. They are only available at Est Nation and they won’t last long. Look for them in the June issues of In Red and Oggi.
I’m happy to announce that for the second time we’ve teamed up with Cocca to make collaboration items. This season we’ve made a limited edition series of Rhythm Umbrellas and Kabocha Parasols. This series of Pumpkin umbrellas comes with UV coating and waterproofing. With dual coating these models are great for any season.
