[:en]Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi is where the masterpiece, “Statue of a Celestial Nymph” by Gengen Sato is located. While I was looking at the sculpture, a man on a deep pipe organ played “It’s a small world”. The music made viewing the sculpture almost meditative but also like a performance art piece. [:en]This is my first time to have a show at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi. It’s a beautiful store in terms of architectural ornamentation. There is also a beautiful giant sculpture “Statue of a Celestial Nymph” in the Central Hall. That alone is a good enough reason to come to this location in the heart of Tokyo.[:ja]日本橋三越でのショーは初めてだ。建築的な装飾が美しい店だ。中央ホールには美しい巨大彫刻「天女の像」もある。それだけでも、東京の中心にあるこの場所に来る十分な理由になる。[:]
