I don’t write about them much but I’d like to thank them now. The craftsmen we work with in Kyoto have been making DiCesare Designs umbrellas and parasols for almost 8 years now. Their techniques have been crucial in developing new items and producing a limited edition series of high quality umbrellas and parasols. Without their combination of experience, pride and creativity, this series would not have been possible. Thank you! This is a photo from a little show we participated in from Feb 17th to Feb 19th at Omotessando Hills called “Asobi”. It was a show featuring a lot of up and coming brands. Omotessando Hills is a great place for just such a show. There was even a live painting performance on the opening evening. Great night.
